1 Injured In Patchogue Shooting: Police
PATCHOGUE-MEDFORD, NY One man was hospitalized after a shooting in Patchogue Tuesday morning, Suffolk County police confirmed. Officers responded to a 911 call that came in at 10:20 a.m. behind businesses on South Ocean Avenue in the area of Main Street.
The man was transported to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue. He was expected to survive.
Patchogue-Medford schools were locked down following the report of the shooting, according to a letter from Superintendent of Schools Donna Jones. The message stated that school officials were advised by the Suffolk County police department that there was a suspect associated with a shooting driving around Patchogue-Medford.
The lockdown was lifted at about 11:45 a.m. after police notified school officials that the situation was under control.标签：
